Safe Video Production
Zander Media has taken heightened levels of safety and caution in its work throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. As a team, we prioritize physical and mental well-being, even over our work.
Commitment to Safety
Zander Media is committed to safety as a top priority in all our operations.
Everyone on the ZM team is fully vaccinated, and we request the same from others on set.
We know that filming video safely during COVID-19 pandemic requires more time and resources. Thus, we are scheduling additional time on set and between shoots.
We plan for safety around COVID-19 throughout every aspect of production.
Please speak up. If you are uncomfortable before, during, or after any ZM operations, please speak up!
Physical Distance
We aim to have as few people on set as possible.
This is likely to be 3 people total: camera operator, project manager, and interviewee.
We may also conduct interviews by Zoom, thus reducing the number of people present.
For larger productions, we will stagger when people are on set to minimize interactions.
Spaces used for filming are large enough to accommodate 6’ of space in between all people.
Face Coverings
Face coverings will be worn by all participants.
Where accessible, ZM team will wear KN95 face covers, with appropriate covering over filters, as needed.
The interview subject may take off their face covering during the course of interview.
Sanitize & Air Out
Everyone washes their hands upon arrival.
All equipment, furniture, and other surfaces are wiped down with sanitizing solution in between each user.
Any indoor spaces we use for filming are thoroughly aired out in between different people being in the same space.
Our protocol for this is 15+ minutes with all windows open.
We carefully select filming locations that maximize windows, airflow, and ventilated entryways.
Everyone sanitizes bathroom surfaces after use. Window is kept open in the bathroom, if available.
